Shepherd Color was featured in the September edition of Eco-Plastics In Packaging, page 30-33 of the Prize Picks article written by Contributing Editor, Lilli Sherman. The article reports on colourants, additives and masterbatches within the plastics industry, with packaging innovation at the forefront.

Input on the importance of consistency and addressing legislation and sustainability is discussed.

When asked “What other demands are being placed on you in regards to sustainability, and what steps are you taking to meet them?”
Mark Ryan, Product and Market Manager with Shepherd Color says, ‘We look at the whole value chain from where materials are sourced, how much energy we use in production, to meeting regulatory and other requirements. We participate in the EcoVadis Sustainability Platform to balance and address all the different aspects of sustainability.’
