A revolutionary breakthrough in innovative pigment technology |
In the manufacture of colored liquid coatings there is a pigment dispersion step. The dispersion step is one of the most critical steps in the whole paint-making process.
The energy required to achieve this dispersed state is considerable and demands the use of equipment such as ballmills, beadmills, triple roll mills etc.
This process is variable and can take a considerable amount of time, ranging from many hours to days.
Done well, it provides the coating with ideal properties. Otherwise, not only will the color be wrong, but the properties of the coating may be impaired.
Not any more! Make dispersions in minutes! Just stir them in!
Dynamix
dispersion characteristics are so superior, conventional milling and dispersion techniques are unnecessary. Dynamix "stir-in" pigment technology requires only simple mixing. The time it takes to reach complete dispersion will depend upon the intensity of the mixing equipment but can be achieved in as little as 5 minutes.
The dispersion of Dynamix is easier than that of titanium dioxide, a benchmark in world of coatings.

Benefits
Everyone benefits from Dynamix! From the CEO to the Plant Manager, from the Technical Manager to the Chemist, there is something to be gained by all.
- Reduce total costs by over 20%
- Shorten dispersion cycle times from days to minutes
- Slash energy costs by more than 90%
- Make the same color every time
- Batch size, from the lab to plant, yields the same results
- Move production to any location in the world
- Speed up development time
- Can be added at any stage
- Stronger tint strengths & improved paint properties
- Reduce waste and cleanup

Properties
Dynamix will give you consistent properties each and every time, whether you make small samples in the laboratory or large scale production batches.
The color and tint strength are "locked-in". Tint strengths are often significantly higher than the conventionally dispersed dry pigment equivalents; improvements between 10 and 50% are not uncommon.
Dynamix will yield improved paint properties:
- Gloss and image clarity can be improved
- Better flow characteristics
- Improved rheology and lower viscosities are possible
- Consistent reflectance properties for Arctic® infrared reflecting products
The dispersion characteristics of Dynamix are similar for all products. No dispersing agents are necessary, although some additives may be needed to stabilize the final dispersion. Start with those you use for titanium dioxide.
Dynamix is 100% pure high performance inorganic color. There are no additives, resins or binders to have to formulate around.
